The Bamboo Pokemon

Camboo live in large colonies of up to 70 individuals, and spend most of their lives retrieving berries and other treasures for their leading Pandea.

Evolves into Pansow at level 15

Pansow Grass/Fairy

Pansow, once evolved, are known to strike out alone, in search of other Camboo colonies to lead when they eventually evolve.

Evolves into Pandea at level 35

Pandea Grass/Fairy

The Bamboo Pokemon

Pandea use their large, powerful paws to enchant other pokemon. They use these pokemon to retrieve their food for them.

Lamburn Fire

The Furnace Pokemon

A Lamburn's internal organs are so hot that they are constantly engulfed in a burning flame. As a result, they have, over time, adapted the structure of their body and wool to resemble a furnace, so that they can vent the noxious gases and live more comfortably.

Evolves into Chimenewe at level 15

Chimenewe Fire/Poison

The Furnace Pokemon

After evolving, Chimenewe have much more room in their furnace-like chamber, allowing them to produce more poisonous gas. In battle, Chimenewe can fire both flames and poisonous fumes from the chimney on its back.

Evolves into Rammace at level 35

Rammace Fire/Poison

The Furnace Pokemon

Rammace wander the Hoquin region alone, inadvertently poisoning their surroundings with fumes that escape their back. Wanting to do some good to counteract their inherent destruction, Rammace look for lost people and pokemon at night, and guide them home using the glowing flame from inside them.

Dewary Water

The Riptide Pokemon

A Dewary's feathers are always damp, and if it were to ever dry up, they would soon die with it. They stand still in the shallow tide as it laps up and around around their legs, allowing the water to be soaked up through their feet to keep their bodies wet.

Evolves into Cassoam at level 15

Cassoam Water/Steel

The Riptide Pokemon

The alloy that a Cassoam's head crest is made of depends on the contents of the water that they spent their pre-evolved days absorbing. The most common is copper, and they use it to deliver slashing attacks in battle

Evolves into Castoway at level 35

Castoway Water/Steel

The Riptide Pokemon

Castoway are most commonly found (or not found) far out at sea. After evolving, having been stood still on the shore for a lot of the time before this, Castoway swim out to sea and continue to do so for as long as it takes to find an island or another land mass, where they get out of the water and start a new Dewary colony there.

Vernent Normal

The Climbing Mouse Pokemon

Vernent love to climb, but their underdeveloped limbs restrict them from climbing anything larger than a rock. Once they find a rock that they like, they'll cling to it for the rest of their pre-evolved life.

Evolves into Fulviant at level 20

Fulviant Normal/Fighting

The Climbing Mouse Pokemon

Once evolved, Fulviant use their newly strengthened appendages to break their favourite rock into reusable, projectile weapons.

Pineup Grass

The Narcissist Pokemon

Pineup are so infatuated with their looks that they'll often forget to feed or defend themselves. As a result, these pokemon are much rarer than they once were.

Evolves into Pinepadour at level 20

Pinepadour Grass/Dark

The Narcissist Pokemon

Pinepadour are so obsessed with their looks, that they will do anything necessary to defend it. This means that they will overfeed themselves to ensure good nutrition, and they will lash out at anything that threatens the cone on their heads.

Cheruppy Fairy

The Lucky Dog Pokemon

Cheruppy love people and enjoy wandering around towns and cities actively looking for people who they can bring good luck to. When a Cheruppy lays down and curls up, it can hit the gong around its neck with its tail, it is believed that anyone who hears the resulting sound will be brought good luck for the next 3 days.

Evolves into Cadabrador at level 21 (day)  Evolves into Alakanis at level 21 (night)

Cadabrador Fairy/Psychic

The Magician Pokemon

Cadabrador are mischievous tricksters and enjoy hiding in towns and cities and using their psychic powers to pull pranks on unsuspecting people and pokemon.

Alakanis Fairy/Ghost

The Familiar Pokemon

The polar opposite to Cadabrador, Alakanis love people, especially families and young children. They will often adopt themselves into families and help around the house, especially by using their brush-like tail to sweep up dirt and dust.

Qurowk Flying/Ground

The Ground Bird Pokemon

Qurowk spend most of their time underground, absorbing the energy from the soil around them. They are capable of flight, but prefer to walk or burrow.

Evolves into Qurouse at level 18

Qurouse Flying/Ground

The Ground Bird Pokemon

After evolving, Qurouse burst out of the ground with a super-charged hunger for battle. They will stalk over the ground, plunging their head into the soil when they feel the vibrations of prey moving beneath them.

Evolves into Tetrouse at level 28

Tetrouse Flying/Ground

The Ground Bird Pokemon

Tetrouse bury their legs and lower half in the ground, and flatten the crest on their head, allowing them to blend into the earth. When unsuspecting prey walks past, they spring up and give chase. And if prey burrows beneath them, they swiftly kick their powerful legs further down and grab them.

Mantwerp Bug

The Four-legged Bug Pokemon

Mantwerp live in small, closely-knit colonies and use their unique anatomy to move items and cargo around quickly for both people, and pokemon.

Evolves into Mantaleon at level 25

Mantaleon Bug/Dragon

The Dragon-mantis Pokemon

Mantaleon are immense, but fairly common in the Hoquin region. They enjoy lending themselves to human causes, like travel and shipment. The Mantaleon travel industry has thrived in recent years, and is now the most effective method of transport.

Toaga Psychic/Fire

The Spa Pokemon

Toaga live in the coldest parts of the Hoquin region, where hot springs reside high up in the mountains. They make their home on the sides of these springs, offering relaxation and comfort to any traveller that ventures near. Though, they have been known to use these same luring techniques to entrance prey.

Numuroll Flying

The Cloud Pokemon

Numuroll are entirely invisible from underneath when outside, as their bodies are made almost entirely out of water. When a Numuroll is sad or upset, they gather in the clouds to weep together.

Evolves into Stormullair at level 30 with at least two other Numuroll on the Player's team.


Stormullair Flying/Electric

The Storm Cloud Pokemon

Legend has it, that these pokemon will gather in the sky and use the electric-powered gems that grow in their bodies to produce thunder stones. If you upset a Stormullair, they will never forget it.

Jackoji Normal/Fighting

The Buck Fight Pokemon

Lacking the use of arms for combat, Jackoji have evolved incredibly powerful legs so that they can charge their incredibly powerful horns into their foes. Being natural herbivores, their horns are only used for fighting others of their species.

Evolves into Jagolupe when traded holding Sharp Claw.

Jagolupe Normal/Fighting

The Buck Fight Pokemon

Once evolved, Jagolupe have gained powerful front limbs, making their attacks much stronger. They have also evolved carnivorous tendencies, and so, tend to be a lot less social than their pre-evolved forms.

Felune Dark/Electric

Legend has it that these pokemon draw their electrical power from the moon itself. They will often gather on mountaintops to absorb the power of the moon.

Evolves into Feclipsa when given a Moonstone.

Feclipsa Dark/Electric

Feclipsa are extremely powerful but temperamental pokemon, and their mood or general attitude depends on what phase the moon is in.

Coredum Rock/Ice

The Peak Pokemon

Coredum spend most of their time buried up to their head crests in snow, as they require the surface of their rock to be frozen at all times.

Evolves into Coruvern at level 25

Coruvern Rock/Ice

The Peak Pokemon

Coruvern spend most of their time digging out caves in the sides of mountains so that other local pokemon have shelter from the wind and snow.

Evolves into Everendum when traded.

These enormous pokemon generally sit dormant among the peaks, looking like one themselves, allowing other pokemon to take shelter in their cavern-like bellies. Once active, however, these pokemon could crush entire towns in a matter of minutes.

Flowick Grass/Fire

The Fireflower Pokemon

Flowick desperately wish to fit in with other vibrant, colourful grass pokemon, however their biology means that their blooms are perpetually on fire. Although, many trainers find this beautiful in its own right.

Evolves into Planturn at level 30

The Lantern Pokemon

Festivals are held in this pokemon's honour every year, and are attended from far and wide due to the beauty that flocks of these pokemon display.

Mogarin Normal/Ghost

The Gatekeeper Pokemon

Mogarin are said to come into existence when normal type pokemon fall victim to that of fighting type pokemon. They are incredibly mischievous, but are common pets for young trainers.

Monkwai are very dangerous pokemon, and as a result, they are often trained to guard places or areas of cultural or spiritual value.

Evolves into Gorriluo when traded.

These pokemon are most commonly found guarding Hono tower in the Encanto Wilds, which is said to be the gateway to the afterlife.

Hulia Fighting/Fairy

Hulia are popular subjects for regional paintings and tapestries that represent rebeliousness, especially among young girls. They can often be spotted teaching young women how to defend themselves.

Evolves into Huloxa at level 25

Huloxa are vastly disliked by parents across the Hoquin Region as they are renowned for teaching young girls the ways of magic and martial arts.

Evolves into Julingo when traded.

The Hidden Power Pokemon

These pokemon are celebrated across the Hoquin Region as powerful deities who capture and vanquish evil spirits and entities. Festivals are held in their honour every year.

Riepe Grass/Water

The Rice Pokemon

Riepe are found in the rice farms of Farrowville where they enjoy helping the farmers there reap the rice that they grow. They require their feet to be consistently wet, or else they dehydrate very quickly.

Evolves into Goryeath when given a Leaf Stone. 

Goryeath Grass/Water

The Rice Farmer Pokemon

Goryeath are large pokemon that are often used by farmers to tend to the rice fields unsupervised. They are also extremely powerful, however, and will defend their crops viciously.

Jugoronin Electric/Ground

The Conserve Pokemon

Jugoronin store electricity by curling up and getting struck by lightning. They can then keep this electricity in their conductive, fluffy wool in their middle. They can later channel this energy through their cheeks and their claws.
